DAY 01 ARRIVAL IN ATHENS / ATHENS (Dinner) Arrival at the Athens airport. Welcome assistance and
transfer to our hotel in Athens. Later, we gather again and transfer to Plaka area
for a first short walk to this picturesque side of the city. We will then enjoy
a dinner at a local restaurant. Return to our hotel for overnight.
DAY 02 ATHENS CITY TOUR / ATHENS (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) The morning is dedicated to exploring the city of Athens. After our breakfast, we meet with our driver and guide and we begin with a panoramic tour to the most important monuments and landmarks of the city including the Panathinaikon stadium, the Zappeion, the temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, Syntagma square, the Parliament, the tomb of the unknown soldier, Schliemann's house, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and the old Parliament. Next we head for our guided visit to the Acropolis, including the Propylae, the temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon, the Erechtheion. We continue on foot to the near-by museum of Acropolis voted as one of the best museums in Europe for our guided visit. We continue our day as we walk into Plaka to a local restaurant to enjoy our lunch. Rest of the day will be at leisure. After lunch, you can return to your hotel with our bus, or you can choose to return on your own, taking advantage of your free time to explore more of Plaka on your own, or, why not, do some shopping at the famous Ermous street. Dinner and overnight in our hotel.
DAY 03 ATHENS – MYKONOS, ISLAND TOUR / MYKONOS (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Early breakfast this morning and transfer to the port
of Piraeus to catch the local high-speed ferry to Mykonos. Arrival and meet with your
local escort. We will then begin for a panoramic tour of the island. We will
visit the Village
of Ano Mera with the monastery of Panagia Tourliani, and some of the
most famous beaches of Mykonos. During our panoramic tour, we will make two
photo stops at scenic points with views to the island of Delos and the Chora of
Mykonos. Our panoramic tour will end at our hotel for check in. After settling
to the hotel, we continue our day on foot to Chora (Mykonos town), at a local
restaurant for our lunch. After lunch, we will explore Chora, with the narrow
cobble-stoned streets, and the white-washed houses. We will see Mando square,
Paraportiani church, the famous windmills, and the unique “Little Venice”. Rest
of the afternoon will be at leisure. In the evening, we gather again to walk at
a near-by restaurant for our dinner.
DAY 04 AT LEISURE / MYKONOS (Breakfast/Dinner) The day will be at leisure for you to explore more of
the unique island of the International “Jet Set”, on your own. In the evening,
we will gather for our dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY 05 MYKONOS – SANTORINI / SANTORINI (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After our breakfast, we will be transferred to the
port of Mykonos to catch the local high-speed ferry to Santorini. Arrival in
Santorini, meet with your local escort and transfer to your hotel for check-in.
After settling to the hotel, we will walk to Fira town for a first orientation
and enjoy our lunch at a local restaurant. Rest of the afternoon will be at
leisure. In the evening, we gather again to walk at a near-by restaurant for
our dinner. Overnight in Santorini.
DAY 06 TOUR OF SANTORINI AND OIA / SANTORINI (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Today we will be exploring the island of Santorini. We
make a relaxing start late in the morning and head to see the beautiful beaches
of Santorini, the red beach, Perivolos and Perissa. We will then enjoy a lunch
at a local restaurant and continue to through Megalochori to Pyrgos, with its
narrow street and the castle. We will head further high to the monastery of
Profitis Ilias at the highest point of the island, with stunning
views to the Aegean. We then proceed to a local winery to learn how the locals produce
Santorini’s famous wines and have some wine tasting. Our day continues as we
drive to Oia,
the most famous and beautiful village of the island. We will have free time to
wander around the cobble-stoned streets and watch the unique view of the volcano
and the Caldera. After sunset, the most famous of the Aegean, we will proceed
to a local restaurant for our dinner. Return drive to our hotel for the
evening.
DAY 07 SANTORINI – ATHENS (Breakfast) Today will be take ferry back to Athens. Upon arrival the rest of the day is your free
time to enjoy the city. Overnight at Athens.
DAY 08 ATHENS - ISTANBUL - CANAKKALE (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) After breakfast proceed to airport for your
flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival Istanbul Ataturk International
Airport meet and greet your local guide then we proceed to Canakkale City. On
route, enjoy driving on the shore of Marmara Sea. We have lunch at a fish
restaurant in Gallipoli it is one of the
Battlefields during the World War I and take a Ferry Ride to cross Dardanel Straight which spreads over Europe and
Asia Continents. We visit Troy Ancient City which is the famous mythology city in Homer’s epic poem, lliad, one of
the oldest settlements in the world. Check in hotel. Overnight in Canakkale.
DAY 09
CANAKKALE - PERGAMON - KUSADASI
(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) After breakfast at the hotel, we make a stop in Çanakkale city center
to see the Wooden
Horse from Holywood Movie ‘Troy’ After they completed Troy Movie in
Malta Island that wooden horse was given as a gift by Holywood to Canakkale
City to keep in its original place in the history. Drive
to Pergamum, in Asia Minor. we have Cable Car
experience to visit Acropolis. Acropolis is on the highest part of the city. Some
of the sites include acropolis Temple of Athena, Temple Of Trojan, Arsenals,
Altar of Zeus, and the Library. Acropolis; In Asia
Minor. One of the Seven Churches was planted here. It was noted for its
wickedness, in so much that our Lord says ‘’Satan’s seat’’ was there. The
church of Pergamum was rebuked for swerving from the truth and embracing the doctrines of Balaam and the Nicolaitanes.
After lunch in Pergamum we continue to Kusadası. We visit House of Virgin Mary a marvelous atmosphere hidden in the green.
It is the place where Mary may have spent her last days… Overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 10 KUSADASI - PAMUKKALE
(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) After breakfast at the hotel we visit Ephesus
we will begin as well as viewing one of the Seven Churches of Revelation, you
will see impressive structures such as great theatre where St. Paul and St.
John met. Arcadian Street,Trajan fountain, Celsius Library, Hadrian Temple etc…
We visit a Leather
Outlet Center to watch a Fashion Show and we can see the most famous
Turkish leather (The Silk Leather) Visit St. John’s Tomb and Church, After
Jesus Christ was taken up to heaven in Jerusalem Virgin Mary and St. John went to Ephesus and
St. John built his church in Ephesus. After lunch at a local restaurant, proceed to Pamukkale. Cotton Castle is a magical and unique terraces and
castles created by deposits of white limestone from thermal springs. This
spectecular natural wonder is also in world heritage protection list of UNESCO.
We will see Cleopatra’s
Antique Pool which was built by the Ceaser of Rome Empire Mark
Anthoni. Hierapolis The city was founded in 190 B.C. by
Eumenes II, king of Pergamum. In the 2nd and 3rd centuries, it reached the
height of its development as a Roman thermal bath center. Overnight in Pamukkale.
Don’t forget to bring your swimwear to enjoy the thermal swimming pools
of Pamukkale year-round!
DAY 11 PAMUKKALE - BURSA (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Bursa. En-route you will have
to chance to see unique landscape of Asia Minor. Lunch at a local restaurant
and continue to Bursa. Visit Green Mosque and Mausoleum upon arrival, Green Mausoleum set in a garden, and distinguished
by its exterior paneling of tiles, the mausoleum holds the tiled cenotaph of
Sultan Mehmet I. Across Green Mosque of
1424 reflects the new Ottoman. The signature landmark of Bursa. Ancient Silk Bazaar that strolls along the
Ataturk Avenue to Koza Han where outdoor cafes are set among flowers and
fountains. Check in hotel. Overnight in Bursa.
DAY 12 BURSA - ISTANBUL (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) After breakfast at the
hotel, we proceed to Istanbul. On the route we take Ferry Ride to cross over The Sea of Marmara. We drive to European part of Istanbul by crossing over a Suspension Bridge,
it is a unique experience to drive between Asia and Europe Continents. After
lunch, Topkapı Palace The
seat of the Ottoman Empire after it shifted its capital from Edirne to
Istanbul. It is today a museum palace with a wide Treasuries, Royal Antiques,
Court yards, Holy Relics etc.. In this palace you can see Moes’s stick, St.
John’s arm and a part of his scull covered by gold. We have Taksim Walking Tour, Taksim is known as the non-muslim part of istanbul. It is alive for 24 hours, you can find
shopping, dining entertainment, nightlife at Taksim. We will visit the St. Antuan
Catholic Church at Taksim. St. Anthony of Padua Church, alternatively known as the Sant'Antonio di Padova Church, or locally as Sent Antuan, is a basilica and the largest church of the Roman
Catholic Church in Istanbul. You may visit Hard Rock Café there.
Dinner and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 13 ISTANBUL
- DEPARTURE (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) This morning we start our day with a unique experience
between two continents Bosphorus Cruise; we will see the beauty of
Bosphorus Channel which spreads over Asia and Europe Continents. This is the
great experience to be between Asia and Europe Continents on the boat. We see
and take pictures of Ottoman Palaces, Rumeli Castle, Anatolian Castle and the
life style of people on the coast line of Bosphorus. Visit; Blue Mosque which is the second largest mosque
in Istanbul, built to compete with St. Sophia. Dating back from 17th
century. Mosque is Famous for its blue tiles and 6 minarets. Hippodrome Square former centre of sportive and
political activities of Constantinople. See the famous Egyptian Obelisk,
Serpentine Column and Wilhelm II fountain. After lunch at a local restaurant we
visit St. Sophia, which has been a cathedral and a mosque, now is a
magnificent museum. Its mosaics, stained glass windows & decorated domes
create an atmosphere of breath taking beauty. Visit 500 years old Grand Bazaar, a maze of over 4000 stalls and shops
selling jewelery, handicrafts, ceramics, turkish Coffee and other local
products. Free time at your leisure. Dinner and transfer to airport to take
flight back home with wonderful memories.
